Bard on the Beach is Western Canada’s largest Shakespearean Festival and this year they are celebrating 25 magical years of entertaining audiences young and old. This season, Bard’s Founder and Artistic Director, Christopher Gaze is pleased to announce that they will be performing two classics, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Tempest at the Mainstage tent.

What makes Bard unique is its quality performances coupled with the magnificent waterfront setting at Vancouver’s Vanier Park. To celebrate their 25th anniversary, Bard has lined up activities and special guests all summer long at the Bard Village- BBQ and fireworks, Chor Leoni, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Beer and Wine Tastings, are just some of the offerings. Their events calendar is chock full, making it hard to pick any one event! Visit their Special Events calendar for more information here.
Season Previews begin this Wednesday, June 11th with tickets starting at $33. For Youth audiences (25 years and under) tickets are available from $27. Tickets are inclusive of fees and taxes. Book early so as not to miss the excitement here.
